Contrary to popular belief, the winter months are actually a great time to remove trash and invasive species from the park. You don't have to worry as much about poison ivy, mosquitos, ticks, and bees. Trash is easier to see in the absence of foliage, and invasive poison ivy stands out as one of the only green things in the winter forest.
