Volunteer in the Park

Shepherd Parkway covers a vast-by-city-standards 197 acres. It has been neglected for decades, and there is much work to be done removing trash and invasive plants from the park.

Our volunteers enjoy exercise, time in nature, and knowing that every bit of effort makes the park a better place for plants, animals, and people.

The easiest way to get involved is to join one our Community Clean-ups on the second Saturday of every month from 10:30 am to 1 pm.

Our 2018 dates are:

Saturday, November 10
Saturday, December 8

And our 2019 Dates are:

January 128
February 9
March 9
April 13
May 11
June 8
July 13
